Anyone else not stutter on the phone or face time? It seems like pretty much everyone who stutters says they stutter worse on the phone, but for me I stutter way less, almost not at all, when talking on the phone. I think the reason is because if the person isn't physically in the room with me, my anxiety is a lot less and it doesn't feel like they are really there. This was actually a big issue when i did speach therapy because i did it online so i didn't really stutter at all in therapy, so it was really hard for my speach therapist to tell how much i actually stutter. I would end up having to demonstrate to her what my stutter sounded like in real life because she barely ever heard me stutter when i was on zoom with her. Does anyone else experience more fluency when calling someone?
