Feel this. I have a stutter since I was 13 and it made me heavily insecure. I went years without talking to people outside of the family or in fear because people would mock me whenever I made weird faces trying to get my words out. It destroyed me. I’m 21 now and still stutter at times, also making the weird faces. The thing is tho that my mindset changed. I’m no longer scared of what people think of me and that alone makes me just have small talks with people whenever i’m walking my dog or whatever. Once you really don’t care about what other people think, that’s when the mind is free and you stutter less. That worked for me!
