Having reviewed the information you've shared - Whispering in the definition you give isn't speaking. So the process you're talking about isn't in any way helpful to someone who stutters. I understand the approach you are taking but what you offer is only ever an alternative to approaches which are designed to help the stutterer achieve fluency. In no way would an app like yours inspire someone to move towards fluency. There's a scene in Vanilla Sky where Tom Cruise's character is in a horrific accident and experiences scarring of the face. He locks himself away from the world and has doctors develop tools to help him cope - Something they come up with is a "prosthethic regenerative shield" which he rightly points out is just a mask and to cover his face and nothing else. Eventually he caves and wears the mask to a club to meet friends - they are concerned about their friend and the mask makes his best friend tell him: "TAKE OFF THE FUCKING MASK" The mask is what your app reminds me of - it's an alternative and not a practical solution. Please don't reply again, have already given too much of my time to this - If you don't understand the analogous story from Vanilla Sky then that's on you, it should be clear as day. Bye
