I have a stutter/stammer and it's pretty much wreaked havoc on my life. I've missed a lot of important things because I just can't get the words out or if I try the word gets stuck and I get embarrassed and then it gets stuck even more. Then I have to look away and use some word that doesn't make sense just to get a word out just so people don't keep staring at me or look at me like I'm an idiot. My mother had it and it was pretty debilitating for her too. My heart goes out to you. It truly does.
