Results of little survey: fluency when alone Hi, I posted a survey question a couple of days ago: how fluent are you when alone? My scale was: 1 = completely fluent 2 = much more fluent when alone, but not perfect 3 = slightly more fluent when alone 4 = about the same 5 = worse fluency when alone than in presence of people Thanks to the 2,400 people who read the post! Got only a handful of responses. FWIW, the results to date are: Rating Number-of-responses 1 3 1-2 1 2 1 2-3 2 My take on this highly non-scientific survey: PWS are more fluent when alone, but not uniformly. Only about half report full fluency when alone.
