Is he qualified for the position or not? I’m sure he’s aware of his stutter and would pursue therapies if he wanted. The thing with stuttering is it’s not guaranteed speech therapy will make it better. Can he do the outreach job with a stutter? If so, I say promote him. I don’t really see how bringing up his stutter is necessary. Can you explain why?
