Embracing Imperfection: Breaking Free from the Perfectionism Trap

Embracing Imperfection: Breaking Free from the Perfectionism Trap Yesterday was a challenging day for my fluency. I realized it as soon as I woke up and sat down at my computer to start the work day. Dealing with perfectionism tends to magnify the difficulties on such days. Lately, I've been taking more frequent 15-minute breaks to alleviate my anxiety. During these breaks, I remind myself of the valuable advice my grandfather gave me a long time ago on the baseball field: "Don't let perfection be the enemy of good." This wisdom has stayed with me and applies to every aspect of my life. With this, I've come to understand that not every sentence needs to be flawlessly expressed. Even if I'm only 60% or 70% fluent, it's still considered good enough and to most that is acceptable, as for the rest... they dont matter.
