My husband, when we first met, didn’t tell me he stuttered, because his is pretty severe and it’s obvious, but when we got to know each other better he talked to me about it, and that meant a lot to me. It felt like him showing he trusted me. I ended up sharing some stuff with him, and I wouldn’t be surprised if your boyfriend does the same. It makes you want to share too when somebody shares something with you that you know was hard for them.
