Ah yeah my stutter usually only gets me at the beginning of phrases and whatnot so just getting around the first sound can work for me, I can see how getting caught in the middle would make that idea more difficult on you rather than easier. Yeah, I probably should let my professors know. I tended to let my teachers know in high school and whatnot but this is my first semester of college and I figured I'd just wing it and see how it turns out. Honestly I rarely talk to the professors and moreso end up talking with TAs when I need assistance with something which is a little less stressful. My history class has participating in class discussions as a large chunk of the grade (although I didn't realize this until about halfway through lmao) so the first time I spoke up it really caught the professor off guard and after class he let me know that I could summarize my thoughts on writing and give that to him instead which I thought was a nice gesture.
