You have to accept on some level that you have a speech disorder and that there is no cure. This will protect you from the people trying to sell you so-called cures. Once you've done that, absolutely think about improving your fluency. There are practical, physical speech exercises you can do that will help you better communicate verbally. Specifically, I'm thinking of easy onset and slowing your rate of speech. You can literally just *do this*, just like you can do some jumping jacks. Watch some YouTube videos of it, or start going to speech therapy if it's an option financially.
