I had that before, and because of it, I had trouble pronouncing the letter "R." I had it cut twice, and each time it grew back, but better than before. Meaning, even though it remained, I noticed that my tongue became freer than before, especially after the second time. My pronunciation of the letter "R" improved. The stuttering is still there, but before, it was horribly bad.
