Read “Life on Delay” by John Hendrickson. He’s a writer (obviously lol) who stutters. It’s like an autobiography but focusing only on his thoughts and experiences with stuttering throughout his life. It actually has a whole section about drugs and alcohol. I’m also 24, done a lot of alcohol and drugs to try to help or solve my stutter. I hadn’t read a book cover to cover in years until Life on Delay. Read that thing in a day. Felt like I was reading a book someone wrote about me.
