>*I started really noticing that a few months ago, then a few days ago I had a breakthrough with working through my trauma and now depending on how I'm doing I have started actually stuttering.* If it's true that you started stuttering mid 30s (aka late-onset, adult-onset of psychogenic stuttering.. which is, according to researchers, different from developmental stuttering). Then I suggest typing in [google](https://www.google.com/search?q=%22psychogenic+stuttering%22): "psychogenic stuttering". From what I have read, stuttering recovery in individuals with psychogenic stuttering is very high. Additionally, according to Yairi, PhD, most individuals with stuttering regardless of age, recover from stuttering within 3 years of stuttering onset. My suggestion is to find a health care worker (such as, a therapist) who specializes in psychogenic or adulthood-onset stuttering.
