How to give support for loved ones?

How to give support for loved ones? My cousin is a year younger than me and has always looked up to me. We have been close our whole lives seeing as how we are so near in age. She has dealt with stuttering for almost 25 years. It saddens me to know that she probably deals with depression, anxiety, and frustration on a day to day basis. What could I do to make her life even a little bit easier and provide what little happiness I can? What is the one thing you wish someone would have done or said for you that would have made even the slightest difference? What is the one thing that you did for yourself that helped you realize that you are not flawed and just have a different set of challenges than everyone else? I appreciate you sincere responses and thank you for your time.
