As someone who went to speech therapists for a long time and was forced either by parents or school administration it was very difficult to find the motivation to want to go especially when they taught things to me that I felt like were unfeasible in real life. No one wants to start their sentences off slurring their words so they it comes out smooth what I can recommend as someone who still struggles is let her grow on her own so many of the people as stutters we are taught to look up get over it like George Springer or Drew Lynch. We know all the statistics by heart out of the kids who stutter early on 3/4th grow out of it. We were the unlucky ones who didn't. I know I'm not a parent yet but if a stuttering kid from a small town can find his way, I have full confidence your daughter will find her path in time. This isn't easy to work through and my mental health and stutter felt intertwined weirdly enough it took me not talking for long enough to realize how much I missed my voice. When I was depressed it took knowing people wanted to hear what I had to offer.
