I’m here for my 14.5 yr old son. He developed a stutter age 4 after a family death, he got speech therapy into 1st grade and he made progress. It became mild. He entered middle school and all of a sudden it got worse, but he was able to get an IEP and speech therapy again and he’s using the tools he’s been taught and doing great again. I would say it’s definitely very mild. We’ve talked about how it will probably come and go in life and most likely will happen at more stressful times. Like possibly when he starts up in highschool this upcoming fall.
