SLP here!! Have you ever heard of the east onset method? Most likely, as you said, you’re becoming more disfluent because you’re anxious. Your muscles are tensing, and you will have MYCH more success increasing your fluency if your articulators are relaxed (especially if you feel your jaw tense up) 😊 Just as an example.. the name “Anna.” Instead of coming in with that hard A.. instead try saying “hhhh-Anna” When practicing it’s okay to make that hhh a little longer at first. With practice you can shorten it from “hhhhhAnna” to “hhhAnna” to “hhAnna.” Coming in with what’s called a “hard attack” with that hard “A” sound and tensing up all of your articulators could be causing more disfluencies!! (It’s a lot harder to explain typing versus saying it, but that’s the best way I can explain it) https://youtu.be/tleTRXOqWCg Peachie speechie is amazing, I love her videos and often send them to my clients when they wanna practice carry over. Best of luck!💖
