SLP here, my colleagues around the country saw (and are still seeing) a lot of referrals for kids and teens due to increased stuttering correlating with the pandemic. This is true for other speech issues as well. Stress, uncertainty, and isolation are not conducive to developing (or for adults, maintaining) communication skills. This includes physical, mental, and emotional aspects of speech.
