Yes he did, but for him it was more an issue for my teeth than anything else. Yes i can breath through my nose except when i get a really stuffy nose, it's just that i'm not used to. I've been told how to rest my tongue (the tongue crib is helping) by many therapist (the "speech therapist", the orthodontic and the surgeon. Even one radiologist who had to take a scan of my jaw, i remembered he was so mad i wasn't able to understand him when he asked me to rest my tongue. For the allergies, it's mostly food allergies (my ear canal get tingly and my throat is kinda burning up). According to a test i did, i'm allergic to birch, yet i don't feel disturb by pollen. About asthma, i did have trouble once when i was like 10. Was at night, couldn't breath properly and my parents brought me to the hospital. Over there they made some breathing test (i don't remember if it was conclusive or not), gave me some Ventolin (that had no visible effect on me) and told me that if that happened again, that would maybe mean that i have asthma. But it did not. Well it happened once again the night after the surgery, but that was surely because of all the things they used to maintain my jaw closed. Surgeon said it was a panic attack, which is quite possible (never felt so "trapped") I don't think i eat too fast (too slow maybe actually), but i do chew a lot of gum (one a day for 2-3 hours). I'm thinking of cutting that, but it really does help me to relax sometime. What do you think ? What are the best advises you could give me for a successful recover like yours ? Thank you.
