Sorry, but using alcohol to make a difficult task „easier“ is a horrible way of dealing with that problem. That’s a straight way to alcoholism. Difficult situations when you stutter are constant. If you learn that drinking will make that easier on you, you are just fucking yourself over long-term. I suspect quite a lot people who stutter have substance abuse problems, because of the constant stress and anxiety that comes with it. Saying he or she should drink to deal with that is horrible advice. Yes it’s an incredibly difficult situation, but you can learn out of that so much, and conquering your fear is so important (and in the end rewarding).
