As a stutterer my whole life, I know these things can be tough. I'm 22 and been down a road of a self medicating myself. The reason that I stopped, and I hope this reaches out to you as well; I stopped because I saw it as a temporary crutch. We are basically sacrificing our own well being and state of mind to get a couple of hours of fluency. I guess its a real gauge on how bad we want to be stutter-free. So I took that drive to be fluent and threw it into speech therapy. Before I started, I thought I have no time with school and my job but if it's important to you, you'll make time for it. You have a great thing going with your 3 year old and loving husband. I really want yo wish you all the best.
