I'll just copy and paste this here: "But it's got nothing to do with the stutter, really. I'm not saying it because he's stuttering, but because, he, for example, says "light-blue but kinda greenish but not really" but I know he means "tyrquoise", so I don't need him to explain the colour any further." It's the way I treat people and the way people treat me regardless of our stutter status. I'm treating him like everyone else, which probably makes him assume I'm being somehow disrespectful. I can try my best, but this is most likely going to happen again and again, and it makes me sad.
