Whenever I want to order from a restaurant, I always ask for the menu, and point to things I want even though I know the item by heart. I have done this multiple times at the bakery I used to visit. They know my face, they might even know what I want to order (I order the same thing every thing) but I still get the menu, flick through it and point to the thing I want. Otherwise, I just use the ordering kiosk they might have (like McDonalds, their employees actually prefer I use that, lol).
