What I did when I was a wee lad and the letters that I blocked the most on were the letters, “N” and the letter “M”. What I did with words that started with either a N or M, I got the dictionary (before Google) and learned the synonyms and antonyms of words that started with those letters. It helped me with learning new words and I was told that I sounded smarter. At age 12 that meant a lot to me. Good luck!
