I'm not surprised. I'm very comfortable and open talking about my stuttering but I don't know how the other person feels. Some people don't feel it's a big deal and don't care to talk about it, other people only know about their stutter and don't want to generalize their views/experiences to others. I personally don't have a need to discuss my own stuttering and won't bring it up unless they want to talk about it in which case I'm happy to.
