I feel like you did it wrong for 7yrs...stuttering is mostly a learned habit.. When you begun x you should have engaged in consciously creating a habit to gradually replace the stutter..7 yrs was a long time for a new fluent habit to be formed and accepted.. Best of luck tho, It brings memories of when i found out being tipsy could supress my anxiety and i would become the most fluent medical personnel ever,long story short i really don't know why it stopped working but it wrecked me real bad..ODed couple so many times tryna achieve relaxation enough for fluency...
