I’m old. I’m 70 yo and have stuttered since I was 12. I love myself and have had a great life. I’m in a 42 yo relationship with my current spouse. It does get better. Love yourself and realize there is so much more to life than stuttering. I had a good friend who was a profound stutterer and I mean profound. He stuttered on every other word. He married and had kids. His wife adored him as well as his kids and he was loved within our friend group. No one minded his stuttering. Maybe I’m looking at this from an older viewpoint but yes, it really doesn’t matter in the long run. If you’re young, I’m sure it seems like it’s life altering. John (my friend) and I beg to differ.
