Thanks for your accurate analysis! I’d like to add on to 2, because im not a true fan of tolerance. Yes - tolerance can help you function better, but then what are you functioning for? I think the calmth you gain from the non-compulsory control is a true gift to move mountains. You lack the need of free will that others have, and as such you are able to endure non-happiness for a lot longer. It shouldn’t be extended your whole life, but to understand your own pain is to understand your purpose, because this pain is partly your opinion. It’s there where i also draw on my reasoning to talk from. And about 3, It’s quite literally that “handing tasks over” to the subconscious, is done through engaging in conscious tasks. The better you are at engaging with the senses while a task is still active, the better the performance is. A great example of this is adrenaline. However, the hormonal backlash from adrenaline is too big of a price, but that doesn’t mean we can’t utilize the mechanism it works through!
