You can learn to feel better about yourself and reduce your stuttering to an extent. Read psycho-cybernetics the updated and expanded version. Stuttering is made worse by your negative thoughts about it. Reading that book was my start to overcoming my stutter and block. Your stutter might naturally get more manageable as you get older as well. I think at its core for a lot of us stuttering/blocking just got built into our speech patterns as a habit. And then because we struggled with stuttering we made actions/decisions and had experiences that reinforced negative beliefs so it’s all a positive feedback loop where: stuttering -> negative emotions or negative perceptions placed on a past experience -> negative beliefs -> anxiety about stuttering -> repeat
