I have no idea why you seem to assume (the majority of) stutterers are not working hard to make their lives better, when in fact they do desire for change. No one actually likes having a stutter. Sure, there are some people who choose to do nothing, but your generalization that stutters are "miserable" and therefore anti-social individuals goes way too extreme.
