I'm Indonesian but I spent my early childhood in the US so English was most likely my first language. When my family moved back to Indonesia when I was around 2nd grade, I had difficulty adapting myself to the new enviroment. School sucked really bad, I had trouble because I couldn't understand the language at the time and other kids often ridiculed me for not knowing the rules of the games that I took part in. So the first few years after I moved to Indonesia were really stressful for me, and I guess my stutter developed during those years. No one else in my family stutters so I guess genetics didn't play a part.
