A big thing for me when I was struggling with a lot of similar feelings was accepting that I had a stutter and that if anyone made fun of me or had an issue with it that it's their problem. Not mine. So rather than focusing on what I couldn't do (speak fluently), I focus on if I got my message across or not. If I did then clearly I'm able to communicate effectively and it was a successful conversation. Everyone is different in regards to what helps them and what doesn't but of you're struggling with depression then you should reach out to someone for help, if you see a therapist then they would be a good resource to help you more
