Poor little dude! I hope you didn’t go after the teacher though. As a teacher myself, and a stutterer, I see both ends of this. With 30 kids in the room at all times, 30 different contexts to consider, and 30 different learning styles - you can’t always catch everything and protect everyone. School is a microcosm of our wider world. As a stutterer he will never be able to avoid having others notice, point out, laugh at or even outright mimic his stutter. My experiences being laughed at as a kid fortified me and helped me to grow strong and resilient. I don’t think I’d be a teacher today without overcoming those trials. He will be okay! He’s got a parent who obviously loves and supports him, and that counts for a lot.
