Blocks are definitely worse. When blocking I’ve had people at best assume I’m just done talking and at worst ask genuinely if I’m having a stroke. I get a lot more weird looks when my face moves and is stuck on a word but nothing comes out. Reputations are more so what the layman recognizes stuttering as so I have less issues besides the occasional asshole who makes a joke at my behalf.
