I'm 30 years old and I work in IT as a Network Engineer. I've had a stutter for my whole life. To be honest, most people don't notice it or care but I do have a mild case as my therapist once said. My role is very people focused and I spend a good portion of my time in meetings with all levels of management. I noticed that using breathing techniques work plus I take anti-anxiety medication when needed to take the edge off. I do, at times get stuck on a word or if I'm having a "bad week," I tend to avoid most interactions. My wife and family have been saying my whole life to accept it and for the longest time, I couldn't. Once I did, life is much easier. I've noticed it doesn't hinder me for the most part. I set goals and I go after them. That't what you have to do. Hope that helps.
