I've always been confused as to why my name is the hardest thing for me to say. Getting asked the question if I forgot my name was something I got used to. I eventually started telling those people, "Yes, I forgot, sorry. Those people don't deserve to know my name anyway. Now that I'm older, I still feel that way, but I've found that if I anticipate being asked my name and I introduce myself first, it is much easier for me. I guess it is just the feeling of being put on the spot that causes my block. Try introducing yourself first. There is more of an aspect of being in control if you initiate it.
