Great comments from the others. Seeing the results of leaving your comfort zone takes time. Stick with it! Gradually situations at work will get easier, maybe it takes months, for me it took years before phone calls was bearable, now i lead a team of 5 (15 years later). I literally used to leave the building to make calls, and I really should have been in front of the computer when calling. You gain confidence in small steps along the way.
