Hey boss, I absolutely know the feeling. As a kid I couldn't even say my name without stuttering massively. Now I give presentations to the executive committee at my work (15-20 senior executives). Here are a couple of pointers based off my own experience: 1. Practice before (I go a little overboard and I tend to rehearse as if its a theatre play). No need to go that far but that is what calms me down and gives the confidence so find a readiness level that you are comfortable with. Even the non-stutterers have to practice so for us, it just gives an extra incentive. 2. To optimize sleep and relaxation, try meditation the night before and the morning of. If meditation is not your thing, take 1 minute, close your eyes and listen to your breathing. Repeat as needed. 3. Slow the pace down. When presenting, we have a tendency to accelerate the speed of speech. Force yourself to say the first couple of sentences at a very slow speed. It'll set a relaxed tone for the rest of the presentation. 4. After your presentation, take a few minutes to go over what went well and what didnt in terms of delivery and preparation. Take notes and make appropriate changes for the next time. Hope it helps.
