It sounds like you want to connect with him. Is that right? And he’s being a typical 16 y o asshole? You have to meet him where he is right now. Find out what he cares about, what’s going on in his life. Play video games or sports. He’s not going to care about you unless you show interest in him. At this point you’re right, he doesn’t care about your feelings. There might be something on the other side of that. Do you care about his feelings? Do you get more attention and he’s jealous? I say try to find the root cause of his hurt feelings first.
