I’m 42 and I feel like I’ve been able to overcome my stutter but it did take work and I do still have the occasional bad day. I didn’t start to actually “work on” my stutter in the sense of practicing different techniques until I was around 25, so you have a head start on me. Most of the time when I’m speaking I feel fluent and don’t have to think about breathing and such.
