It's better to straight up tell your coworkers that you stutter and things like that can happen from time to time. It's something you have limited control over. Most people will understand and appreciate the honesty, also it shows courage from your end by being upfront about it. Everyone is going to find out eventually, and nobody worthwhile will give a shit about it. All the best to you!
