>When you leave a message to someone you literally have to start speaking right away or the system cuts you off and you have to start the process all over. I'm talking about a pause that is under a second. Talk to your manager, and tell them you'd like to put a ticket in with IT, requesting they adjust the timeout. If you get any pushback from manager, mention you have a disability. In the ticket, express how this timeout period being so short is a barrier for you due to your disability. > When I set everything up I had to record my name. I had to do it 4 times. I maybe had a half second hesitation in the beginning and the system kept saying I ran out of space! Use your phone to record you saying your name. Just hit record, and say your name several times. Use an audio editor to isolate the one you like best. When you go to record your name on the voicemail system, just press play on your pristine recording. As far as item 1 goes... Speech to text is mediocre when it's doing well.
