Are YOU comfortable with it? That’s all that matters. Cashiers typically don’t have to say a ton, obviously depending on where exactly you’re working. It’s not like a call center job or something. If you feel like you can handle it, go for it. It may be a good way to get over some anxiety about speaking to people as well.
