\>Recently my gf has been diagnosed with parkinsons, she also notices that there are no support groups or info about that here r/Parkinsons is for those with Parkinson's and family and friends. There are FB and other groups. They tend to be islands of "similar". I was first noted as having Parkinson's at age 25, at that time it was before social media (1983). Doc's explained I was too young to have "an old person's disease" but recommended I keep exercising (an avid cyclist) so I kept riding for years. I still ride, but a three-wheel recumbent due to lack of balance.
