“Just talk” is the worst bit advice I have ever heard I have only ever heard this from people who don’t stutter and it makes sense why. “Just talk” implies the reason I can’t get the word I’m trying to say out is because I’m trying to do everything but talk. I can’t start sentences with soft consonants or vowels and can barely start them with anything else unless talking to friends, that’s not because I’m choosing not to talk. Stuttering is not a choice and “just talking” is all I’ve been trying to do my whole fucking life
