Thanks for sharing your experience. SSRIs aren't for everyone, and they can definitely have some side effects. We waited a long time to start him on them, but it had gotten to the point that he was starting to have panic attacks. So we decided it was time before he got stuck in the fear of having a panic attack causing a panic attack cycle. He hasn't complained about feeling anything negative. He's very happy with how he feels, and I think he feels like he's more himself with the medicine. He's very social and talkative so it was more out of character that he stayed quiet.
