Joe Biden clearly stutters and it is easy (for me) to see him using avoidance techniques for certain words when speaking. I’ve seen Bruce Willis use some avoidance techniques, but much less than Biden. I’ve heard talks where James Earl Jones stutters. I agree about Emily Blunt. I think some of this is that success, when combined with age, brings about a degree of confidence that helps overcome stuttering. I think we all have experienced how fear and anxiety can amplify our tendency to stutter.
