Where are you from and how do people treat stutterers in your country? Hey, I am from Pakistan and tbh stuttering is a kind of joke here. People often confuse my stuttering with me being on drugs or something. Also, the movies made here and all often represent stutterers as some kind of a joke so that adds up to the insensitiveness. ​ I remember I was passing by an army checkpoint once and I stuttered there. The uniformed guy thought of me as some terrorist or something and told me to come park my car somewhere aside and come outside of the car. I had to properly show my ID card and all to prove to him that I am just a person with a stutter lol.
