It’s so annoying! Sorry to hear yours has been bugging you as well. There’s a few around the world, but this one specifically was in Vancouver, BC. It’s basically 10 hours a day of group speech therapy for 10 days in a row. Total of 100 hours. You learn how to speak fluently, and then as a group you practice the techniques - either together, or out in public. So there was a lot of public speaking, presentations, “stressful” group activities, etc. Essentially you get to a place mentally of being so confident in your fluency, the anxiety piece basically falls away. It’s the best kind of vicious cycle in that you speak fluently when you aren’t used to being able to, and then you believe in your ability even more, which leads to more fluency, which leads to more belief, and on and on.
