well, as a longtime stutterer, my best advice is don't keep it secret in any way. get your stuttering out into the open and let people know you stutter. this is advice straight from my speech therapist. voluntarily stuttering (literally stuttering on purpose) is one of the best things you can do because it will make you less fearful of blocks in the future, making them less intense and less difficult. people will appreciate your bravery. maintain eye contact while you do it too. if you aren't ashamed of it, people won't be either. hope that helps a bit.
